On Time Pitching provides the platform that allows you to pitch safe. Pitchers in the OTP-Pitch Safe program will have the best opportunity to sustain good health and prevent injury. This program is geared towards creating accountability and providing the leadership to ensure the pitchers best interest is always considered. This program allows the pitcher to track physical output and to benchmark physical testing numbers that will act as the basis to ensure ongoing health.
The only way to truly minimize the chance of dodging an avoidable injury is to have regular check ups that validate the athletes growth and development while identifying and managing harmful issues that could be avoided.
The athlete benchmarking specific numbers of performance allows us to better understand the health and well being of the athlete. Avoiding injury is key to success and pitching in pain is not a viable option when it can be avoided. No one should think pitching in pain is ok and not be able to identify fatigue and what happens as a result of that.
Simple at home measurements and monthly check ups can assist with the proper long-term growth and development planning for each pitcher specific to their situation. Everyone is different and it is necessary to have a process in place that is effective in real time and not after the fact.
This program is simple to apply and easy to understand. Athletes can execute self-testing measures that will provide a baseline to ongoing development and flag moments of needed intervention. Ongoing correspondence and education will allow the athlete and all stakeholders to better understand what to look out for and how to manage ongoing development at each level.
Cost to participate in this program is only $50 A Year
We will get you to record specific testing data that will be easy to re-test and provide feedback in your development while providing alarms when numbers are not where they should be.
Pitchers will have to complete a daily athletic performance survey which provides the foundation of health and recovery understanding. This self-reporting information become the pulse of the health and well-being of the pitcher.
Pitchers will load in all of their activities and specifics such as when they throw a bullpen session or pitch in a game. It is simple to use the mobile-application to upload number of innings pitched and pitch count for each outing. All physical activities such as workouts, jogs, bike rides, etc should be recorded in Athletes Pitch Safe profile via mobile application.
OTP-Pitch Safe staff will send out regular email communications referencing specific issues dealing with pitching and how to manage situations. We will host a once a month video conference to discuss how to pitch safe!
OTP-Pitch Safe staff will monitor each pitchers profile and alarm athlete when a downward trend is recognized. Professional monitoring will create accountability for all.
